Thank You! We'll Never Forget!

Good morning everyone,

Today, Veteran's Day, we pause and say a special thank you to those who have served and sacrificed for our country and our freedom. I want to say thank you to my Dad, who served his country in the Navy and the Air Force, and who has now gone on to glory. Thank you to my DH, who served in the Air Force, and my dear brothers-in-law and nephews, who served in the Navy, Air Force, Army and Marines. And thank you to all those men and women whose names I do not know, and faces I'll never see. You've kept our country safe and free. For this, we say,"Thank you"!

Snow Globe Video

It's a beautiful sunny day here and I hope you're having a great day where you are.
We're all starting to get ready for the holidays and getting our Christmas cards made. The snow globe seems to be a popular theme this year for cards, so I thought I'd post this video again from back in July. It was a really fun card to make and very quick and easy.

Paper Cutz Challenge # 16

Good Morning!

It's Friday and time for challenge # 16 at Paper Cutz Challenge. This week's challenge is to make a card, LO or craft project using the colors green, blue, black and white only. That's not so hard, as you'll see when you take a look at the fantastic inspiration our design team has given us this week. They've done an awesome job! To play this week's challenge, just leave your name and a link to your creation in Mr Linky by midnight, EST, Thursday, November 12th. Easy peasy!

I needed some quick and simple thank you notes and decided to use the challenge color theme. The cs for this card is Bazzill and the pp is K & Company Christmas Cheer. I cut the circles using Cricut cart Mini Monograms and added buttons and ribbon from my stash. An EK Sucess corner punch was used to cut the photo corner and I rounded all the edges of the card with my very old and ancient corner rounder. I think I've had it about 10 years! The sentiment is computer generated using McBooHmk font. A very quick and easy card!
