Paper Cutz Challenge # 6

Good morning!

We're already on challenge # 6 at Paper Cutz Challenge! This week we're to design a card, LO or craft project for a baby boy or girl using yellow, green and orange...no pink or blue! This was a fun one, and I got to use my new Cricut cart Everyday Paper Dolls. WHOO HOO! I love this little crawling baby! I used Martha Stewart and Bazzill CS and distressed everything with brown ink. The ribbon is from my stash and the button brads are from Making Memories. I used light brown chalk to accent the baby's jammies, eyebrows and nose, and pink chalk on her cheeks. I just think she's the cutest! This cart is jammed packed with so many cute cuts, that I know I'll be using it a lot!

Ya'll have until midnight on Thursday, September 3rd to get your yellow, green and orange baby boy or girl papercrafts posted in Mr Linky at PCC. There's a really cute prize for the winner, so head on over and check it out!

Don't forget it's Freebie Friday at Sew Many Cards! Go get your free digi and enter Angela's challenge! You have until Monday night and the winner gets 3 of her adorable digi's!

Thanks so much for stopping by and for all your kind and much appreciated comments! Have a great Friday and I'll see you over at Paper Cutz Challenge!

Hugs,
Mary

What's Cooking? 3 New Carts!

Good morning ya'll,

I'm so excited about my 3 new Cricut carts that the wonderful UPS man delivered yesterday! I got Winter Woodland, Everyday Paper Dolls and From My Kitchen. There are so many great cuts on each cart and it's going to be so much fun using them.

Here is my first card using From My Kitchen. I used Martha Stewart cardstock, American Crafts ribbon and the button brads are from Making Memories. I cut the tiny little red heart with my Sidekick and a sizzlets die. Everything has been distressed with brown ink around all the edges and the apron and oven mitts are mounted on pop dots. I love this cart and plan on making some cookbook albums for Christmas. I'll be sure to do a video so you can see how they go together and how they turn out.

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone. Thanks for coming by!

Mary

Sewn Together Challenge # 1

Hi everyone,

Today is the first challenge at Sew Many Cards! I chose this adorable little digi (Tayla) from Angela's digital stamps called Sewn Together. If you haven't gone to her blog, you really need to go and check out these great digital stamps. Just click HERE to take a look at her digi's and see all the other awesome cards the design team has come up with for the first challenge. The winner of the first challenge will get 3 free digi's!

I colored Tayla using MCPT and inked around her with brown ink. The ribbon is from American Crafts and the patterned paper is from Kangaroo & Joey. I ran it through the crimper and inked all the edges in brown, The brown crystal embellies are from my stash. This was a fun card to make, mainly because the digi is so cute!

Be sure to check out the DT's cards and Angela's digi's and join in the challenge!

Have a great Tuesday everyone and Thanks for stopping by!

Boo To You!

Good morning!

Hope you're all having a bright, sunny Monday like we are. I'm sorry, but I'm still on my Halloween card kick. I've got 7 grandkids, so I've got 2 more to make, and Halloween cards are my fave. For this card I used black glitter paper and the pp is from Kangaroo & Joey. Ribbon is from American Crafts and the brads and spiral clip are from Making Memories. I can't remember where I got the ghost stamp, but I inked the edges and all around it in black and adhered it to orange cs that I ran through the crimper and I also inked it in black. This card was hard to photograph because of the glitter paper. If ya'll will bear with me, I'll try to switch gears and make something other than Halloween cards later in the week, LOL!

Thanks for stopping in and have a good afternoon!

Blessings,
Mary

Paper Cutz Challenge # 5

Hi guys,

TGIF and there's a new challenge at Paper Cutz! Challenge # 5 is to make a card, LO or craft project using something that flies! Couldn't be easier, right? The design team has given us lots of great inspiration this week, so check it out and be sure to join in everyone! There's a great prize for the winner too!

Here's my take on the challenge. Can't stop making those Halloween cards and a bat flies, right! I used my Cricut Wild Card cart to cut out the bat. I sponged him with white ink and of course, I had to give him googly eyes. The patterned paper is from Kangaroo & Joey, sponged with black ink and run through the crimper. The ribbon is American Crafts and the brad is from Making Memories.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by! Now head on over to Paper Cutz Challenge, okay?!
Hugs,
Mary

Halloween Whoo?

Happy Sunday!

Hope you're all having a peaceful, relaxing day. I've had so much fun making this card. First, it's a Halloween card and I love to make Halloween cards! Second, I got to use the crimper, a very cool, but little used tool, lol! The owl was cut from the Cricut Storybook cart, the tag from TBBM and the letters from George. I used American Crafts ribbon, Bazzill cardstock and pp from Kangaroo & Joey. I ran the tag through the crimper and sponged it, the owl and the sentiment with black ink, and of course, I had to give the owl googly eyes for fun and mount him on pop dots. I think the grandkids will like this one!

Thanks so much for stopping by and for always leaving such sweet comments. Ya'll are the best!
Hugs,
Mary

Paper Cutz Challenge # 4

Good morning everyone!

It's Friday, so there's a new challenge at Paper Cutz. Challenge # 4 is to make a Halloween card, LO or craft project using any colors EXCEPT black and orange! It wasn't easy, but it was fun and here's what I came up with. This card was very hard to photograph. You can't really tell, but the spider web was cut using white glitter paper. I used the web from the Cricut Wild Card cart. Mr spider was cut from the Doodlecharms cart and I gave him googly eyes and he's mounted on an extra thick pop dot. The brads and spiral clip are Making Memories, cardstock from Bazzill and the ribbon is from my stash. I sponged the green cs and sentiment with purple ink. Wish you could see it IRL...the glittery web really sparkles! C'mon everybody and join in the challenge this week! It's lots of fun and the winner gets a great set of Stampendous acrylic stamps.

TGIF! Thanks for stopping by and for all your get well wishes. They really made me feel so much better! I appreciate you all so much!

Hugs,
Mary

Hi everyone,

Happy Saturday! I was so surprised and honored to receive this blog award for Cardz TV from CindyB at Mrs B's Craftroom. She is an awesome cardmaker and has a very inspiring blog. I just drool over her fantastic cards. To go check out Cindy's blog click HERE.

DeNetra

Janis

Angela

Mini Albums Series # 2

Hi guys,

It's Thursday...one more day until the weekend! Yea!

Here's a new video on making a mini album out of those envelopes you get in junk mail. I used Martha Stewart cardstock for the cover and inside pages. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash and the apple tree and border on the front cover were cut using Cricut cartridge Stretch Your Imagination. I've had a ball working on this little album and hope to make many more for Christmas gifts. At the rate that junk mail comes in here, I should have plenty of envelopes well before Christmas, lol!

Don't forget, you have until midnight tonight to enter your critter project at Paper Cutz Challenge!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,
Mary

Merry Little Christmas Mouse

Good morning,

Hope you're all having a great Wednesday. This has been a very busy week. There's been no time for cardmaking, but I managed to stay up late last night and made this little Christmas card. Don't know if the colors even match, as I'm so bleery-eyed from lack of sleep, lol! The pp and ribbon are from my stash and I cut the red scalloped border with Cricut Stretch Your Imagination cart. I used my white gel pen for the dots. The little mouse is a drawing from Elizabeth O. Dulemba and he's colored with MCPT, cut out and mounted on foam tape.

I have to go to the funeral of an old friend today. I hadn't seen her in almost a year and she passed away suddenly on Sunday. Our daughters were best friends in high school and we used to see each other several times a week. I'm so very sad for her family. Give your Mom a hug today and call your friends.

Thanks for stopping by everyone.
Hugs,
Mary
