Walk in my Garden
Good morning everyone,
Two days in a row with no rain...I can't believe it!
Thank you all so much for all your thoughts and prayers for Lilly. Her Mom says she's doing well and is in high spirits. Thanks be to God for answered prayers!
Last night I helped out a friend and taught her VBS craft classes how to make a toilet paper roll mini tag album. There were about 20 kids, and most of them were too young to get them made in the time allowed per class...so we had to make them, and then let them put the tags with the bible verses, in the pockets made by the flattened rolls. They all turned out really cute, but it was like a marathon trying to get them done so fast...20 albums in an hour! I didn't get to take any photos, but I'll try to do a video, so you can see what they looked like, and how to make them. The kids had a great time and loved their little albums.
Here's a card I made when I got home last night. I used Cricut's Walk in my Garden cartridge to cut the wheelbarrow, flowers and garden tools. The cardstock and self adhesive pearls are from Martha Stewart and the satin ribbon is from my stash. I highlighted the wheelbarrow and tools with darker grey chalk to give them some depth and definition. I really like the WIMG cartridge and need to use it more often.
Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday and thanks so much for checking in!
Blessings,
Mary

Cute card! Love the flowers!
Miss Lil is a trooper! We have to change her bandage everyday (one twice). It's a good thing...she's been using it as a napkin! lol!!!
Our squash does not like all of this rain! I do though, because I sure wouldn't want a drought!
Lots of hugs!
Hi Shannon! Thanks for keeping me updated on Miss Lil. That's so funny about her bandage! She's a rascal!
I know what you mean about all this rain. We didn't plant squash this year, but everything else is growing like crazy. Unfortunately, the bug's think we're growing the garden for them. Wayne sprays, the rain washes it off, and the bug's come back. I hope they leave something for us to eat!
Glad you liked the card. It could be in your mailbox one day, LOL!
Blessings,
Mary
I love that you use your cricut on your cards- I'm not that creative...Great work, again :)
Thanks Anj! That is SO not true...you're one of the most creative people I know! I'm working on a card for your latest sketch. Will you do one for mine? Maybe if we have an entry to post on our blogs, we can get others to join in. What'd 'ya think?
Ttys,
Mary
