Happy Harvest Card

Good morning,

Hope you're all having a good Saturday. Angela at Sew Many Cards has Freebie Friday every week and you can get one of her awesome digi's FREE! This scarecrow is the free digi for this week. I colored him with Prisma colored pencils and mounted him on foam tape. The basket, leaves, acorn and pumpkin were cut using the Cricut Doodle Charms cart. The veggies in the basket were cut with the From My Kitchen cart. Go get your FREE digi from Sew Many Cards HERE.

Here's a video of the scarecrow card. Thanks for watching!

Have a great weekend, ya'll!

Hugs,
Mary

I love how you used the scarecrow with cricut embellishments. And your coloring seems to be getting better and better. It looks so rustic and worn. I love how you don't put so many things on your cards that it becomes overwhelming-unlike me :)

Mary ~

This is A GORGEOUS card. I have learned SO much from you ... you are a TRUE inspiration ... especially to someone like me who is a real newbie at all this.

Could you help me with the basket? I was trying to cut one earlier (at 3 inches) for a project I was making, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. So, I came to your site to see if you had a tutorial ... and here it is!!

When I cut the basket, it makes cuts through the basket across its front. Is that how it is supposed to come out? Am I supposed to cut a second piece to back it?

Thanks for any help you can provide, and thank you for this wonderful blog full of AWESOME ideas and instructions.
